One biscuit crumb discarded in a bin was later found carried up a tall wall and out the window by a stream of ants.
To help out, one large ant rode on the top of it and ate it down to a more manageable size.

All good things must come to an end. Fading light closes another day at the Bali Spirit Festival.

Farewelling my trusty bike and room

Soon to reconnect with family and friends and reflect on a life well lived in 2012.

These are all introspective moments when the camera came out, times of quietude, but the bulk of the experience was with the people - locals, expats and travellers - who made this a fascinating year in Bali.
